Theodore in love.
My favorite movie is her.
The main character’s job as a ghostwriter who writes letters for others is also the same.
It depicts various forms of love in a beautiful, sad, yet hopeful way.
From the warm colors that surround the movie to the cool, sticky early summer air,
Ah, the melodies that flow from time to time, even Samantha’s humming and singing!
This is a movie full of elements that you can’t help but love from start to finish.
I had a goal while drawing pastel pictures.
I make a small calendar with things I like (landscapes, artwork, people, etc.)
A sudden thought occurred to me that I wanted to give a gift to the people around me who are precious and grateful to me.
Classes, which had been suspended for over six months due to the coronavirus, resumed in April.
Because of the long gap, only three works were completed in two years.
The last one to be completed, it is more precious because it was completed later due to a space in the middle.
The male protagonist of her, Theodore Twombly.
A powerful poster that even people who haven’t seen the movie recognize,
Theodore’s face, which fills the poster, really tells a lot of stories.
At first, I said I wanted to draw Theodore.
The teacher discouraged me from saying that characters are difficult and have a high chance of failure.
Still, since it’s my first time, let’s try it with a light heart for practice… haha
Of course I was sincere.
And since he was the male protagonist of the movie I loved, I was confident even though I had no basis for it.
The result is very satisfying!
I’m so proud of myself!
Oil pastel,
Theodore in love (a hastily made up title)

If you are new to portrait painting and are a beginner,
First, in detail,
It is important to sketch with the proportions as accurate as possible.

A sketch that took quite a bit of effort.
I had a very impatient personality, so I did it quickly and quickly.

After completing the sketch, I add color with oil pastels.
Hmm… Mr. Theodore keeps getting fatter and looks like he’s in an Arab store…
I decide not to panic.
The teacher said it was okay, and I’m currently making the base.
It changes when color and light are added.
It felt like he was more embarrassed than me.

Having art skills means,
He said that he keeps discovering different colors and learning how to see them.
Strangely, I could actually see colors that I couldn’t see at first.
Look at each detail carefully and add color.

When it comes to tirador, you can’t leave out the fatal look in your eyes.
Eyes that have been worked with even more effort.

Theodore took off the feeling of an Arab shop guy.
Even the head is drawn so well that it gives me quite a feeling.

finally really finally
completion!
original poster,

Theodore drawn with oil pastel,

A well-drawn first portrait,
I am proud and satisfied! (Even so, ENTJ is full of self-love)
You look 10 years younger than the original and your eyes are brighter…
For the time being, the characters are bye bye!
