My Nasha.

I watched director Bong Joon-ho’s new film <Mickey 17>.

In an interview with director Bong Joon-ho that I happened to see before watching the movie, I heard that he was telling a love story for the first time in this movie. It was truly a love story. I believe that Mickey was able to survive because of Nasha, who unwaveringly supported and loved all Mickeys from Mickey 1 to 18. The scene where Mickey realizes Nasha’s love brought tears to my eyes. It wasn’t a neo-traditional or romantic scene at all, and it was a scene where Mickey’s calm narration passed by in passing. Director Bong Joon-ho’s narrative is very realistic, so you suddenly feel uncomfortable as if your bare face has been revealed, but it is too much like our own, so in the end, you accept it in vain. The love he talked about was neither exaggerated nor artificial. All we need is one person, Nasha, who embraces everything from our timid and stubborn side to our eccentric and emotional side.

I am thankful that I found my Nasha.
