My Little, Everyday Moments

The new year began with a series of “somehows.”

Somehow, COVID,

Somehow, an iPhone,

The start wasn’t exactly fresh and crisp 🥲

But from this year, I’ve decided to record my everyday life, bit by bit..!

Working from home for so long makes me constantly fall into a hole of lethargy.

(WFH extended until March, with only one office day a week…)

So, by recording even small everyday moments,

let’s bring back some energy, little by little!

Hearing the news that my heavy-drinking team leader was moving down to Busan,

We had a sudden get-together! Everyone gather in Gunja!

Was the restaurant name Himssen Gaetbeol Nakji? Haha.

We also had large yellowtail,

but this octopus, eaten with water parsley, was truly my top pick ㅠㅠ

Second round was Maroa?

A cozy, intimate wine bar 🍷

Even a piece of tissue paper seems sad to see him go…

Is it holding onto his sleeve to stop him from going to Busan..?

Looking forward to Busan in early April~

Yes…

The third round eventually ended up at Jeong-i’s house..🍷

It started beautifully with wine and strawberries,

(but then we) called every convenience store in the neighborhood looking for Gompyo Makgeolli..

Drank makgeolli mixed with Seolleim (a type of ice cream), then had fried rice and stir-fried ramen.

Crazy people with exploding appetites…

Natural high with girls

Dynamic, spectacular life 🥂🌝

Our conversation topics were a rollercoaster lol.

We’re going to be immature old ladies.

Went home after receiving a late Christmas gift.

Isn’t the packaging too cute? 😖

The conclusion is, it was a swapped gift haha.

The owner of the gift was immediately guessable upon opening it.

We decided to exchange it next time.

I decided to go on a New Year’s drive with my friends from Bundang.

We zipped off to Namyangju, which is close to my house, for some fresh air.

First, we filled our bellies with sujebi and pajeon,

Arrived at Maeum Jeongwon!

Oh, stone steps with water deer footprints carved into them!

So cute ㅠㅠ It almost looks like a heart shape 💕

Walking along the footprints, step by step.

The blue sky and cool air,

we breathed in deeply and strolled around.

The frozen river.

To warm up from the cold, we went to a supposedly hip cafe in Namyangju,

called Surround ☕️

The road there was so rough and the incline… was incredible..

When we arrived, it was packed with people.

Everyone was in a subtle battle for seats ㅠㅠ

I don’t have any desire for a specific seat..

If the coffee tastes good and there’s a moderate amount of noise,

and a comfortable atmosphere, I’m fine with it 👌🏻

It’s Seollal.

Still, thanks to my mom, I always get to eat delicious holiday food.

I’ll gain weight, but… I don’t care, I don’t caaare.

I’m just going to be happy for now 🌝

Since I properly got rid of bad luck in January,

I hope good fortune will be bestowed upon the coming days 🎶

Happy New Year 💜
