Leisurely Every Day.
As working from home dragged on and I found myself having lunch at home more often,
I suddenly felt the need to adjust my diet.
Was it Gouda and Parmesan cheese? 🧀
Thick, pungent cheese with various vegetables,
and just olive oil and pepper for dressing — done in a flash
🥗 My favorite salad, complete!
Discovered a great bakery in my neighborhood.
They bake bread every day, mainly baguettes and ciabatta,
and it’s so nutty and delicious hehe
Paired with jamón — absolutely heavenly!
My favorite neighborhood stray cat 🐈💜
I run into it sometimes on my way to get coffee or exercise —
a little standoff hahaha
Did it accept my eye-greeting…? Such a shy baby ㅠㅡㅠ
So cute my heart hurts…
But it hadn’t been around for quite a while and I was really worried.. 🤒
Last time it appeared looking so frail and gaunt
it broke my heart ㅠㅠ Then it disappeared again…
I hope it’s living safely somewhere… 🙏🏻

While working from home, I suddenly got a KakaoTalk message from a deputy manager at work.
Turns out, when I went to Barcelona a few years ago,
I bought a tiny little cactus and gave it as a gift…
It had grown this much over those years,
and she thought of me and sent a commemorative photo!!!!
I was reeeally surprised by the photo!!!!
She must have quite the green thumb… hahaha
The heart shape that sprouted at the top is adorable hehe
The thing is, when I first bought it, it was only the size of that heart shape
and it grew this much… 🌱
Maybe Seoul air suits it better than Barcelona? hahaha
I listen to Crush the most while working from home…
A voice that never gets old ㅠ.ㅠ
I listened to his jam live session too and got so excited like I was at a concert 🎶

Wanted to change up the room’s vibe,
so I tore out my favorite paintings from the Monet calendar
that Seoko gave me last year and stuck them on the wall.
Every time I lie in bed and look at them, my heart feels so peaceful 👼🏻
Seeing warm and cool tones together seems even more harmonious..!

Went to Three Birds at Central City.
We arrived as practically the first customers, so it was quiet and peaceful —
white wine and hahaha 🥂 a grand feast… ☆
The hummus salad was so delicious ㅠ.ㅠ I keep thinking about it and want more!!!!
And this open avocado shrimp sandwich was seriously so good too ㅠㅠ
The food here was a total hit!!!!
The pasta below was also right up my alley hahaha
Also ordered something like pancakes for dessert hehe
So sweet~~
Not only do I eat well outside,
but these days I eat really well at home too… 🥑🥑

whipping up a brunch spread to use up the figs piling up in the fridge.
Since working from home means spending lots of time at home,
it’s fun pulling out tableware from the display cabinet one by one hehe

I have a feeling I’ll be greedy for tableware… 😵
🎉 For Mom’s birthday,
this year I decided to cook for her!!!
I was inspired by watching Choi Wooshik make ragù sauce on a summer variety show
and tried making it myself..!
I think I put in way too much red wine 🍷… lol
A fig, cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, and cheese salad to go with the pasta! lol
Mom liked it lol
I think she rated my effort over the taste hahaha
I think we drank two bottles of wine that day @.@
Mom wanted to go to Don Spike’s 🥩 steak restaurant,
but it’s always fully booked and hard to get in ㅠㅠ
So Mom was inspired by Don Spike
and grilled meat really deliciously — a total success!!!

I was craving abalone so much, I ordered some and had it as sashimi right away hehe
No white wine so we had beer with sesame oil and salt dipping sauce instead
Late night snack ㅠㅠ So good… 😊
Abalone sashimi never gets old, so chewy haha
Discovered a great chicken gizzard place at the neighborhood market!!!
They sell wing tips too so I brought both home for beer and late night snacks hahaha
Since I ate a lot, I gotta work out just as hard..!

is being able to exercise during lunch!
I’ve been going to Pilates every lunch lately,
and it feels so refreshing and my core muscles seem to be slowly growing,
so I feel proud *^^*
Mask is a must even during Pilates!
After my birthday, I got the shortest bob haircut ever in early August.
It was even shorter than I expected and I was a bit shocked at first..
But washing my hair was a whole new world~ lol
Triangle kimbap hair… hehe. It’s grown out a lot more now..

A day when the sky was so clear and the clouds were pretty .

(But the Seoul location isn’t that great ㅠㅠ Jakarta is the best!!!)

that’s supposed to be athlete-sized hahaha
Our family isn’t the overeating type
so this amount was plenty to fill us up! 😁
It was a bit pricey,
but the seafood tomato pasta we ordered as a side was surprisingly delicious.
The lobster, shrimp, scallops, and squid were fresh. 🍝
The staycation crew reunited!
Led by Juncheol oppa, we had a lovely dinner
at CHARR in the RYSE Hotel in Hongdae.
The vibes here were sooo good!!! 😋
Before the meal, they burned some rosemary to stimulate appetite,
which was so nice~ sniff sniff 😌
I’ve been into incense lately so I love scents like these hehe
The salad was so refreshing and tasty,
and the cream pasta was really delicious too! Not heavy at all!!!
For round two, we went to have cocktails
at SIDE NOTE CLUB on the hotel rooftop! 🍸
The DJ here… was killing it… 🎧🎶
The music was seriously so good ㅠㅠ All my taste hahaha boom chick boom chick
Too bad we couldn’t drink on the rooftop because it rained ㅠ.ㅠ

I played a celebratory piece for the first time — The Marriage of Figaro
A piece we couldn’t perform when the concert was cancelled,
but we got to play it in this small setting.
I couldn’t attach a flower to the oboe, so I put it on my wrist hahaha
The flute looks pretty with a flower on it *_*
A wedding with truly, truly beautiful flowers.
After the wedding, the mothers picked up flowers like they were at a flower shop hahaha
I would’ve taken some too if I were heading straight home…
But I had to go to orchestra rehearsal.. bye… 🥲
My first ever online company dinner! lol

with a games section and everything — it was really fun hahaha

The feeling of going to the office does disappear, that’s true ㅠㅠ

I’d been wanting Nike Air Max, 🤤
and Seongyun said she’d get me a pair of Nikes,
and bam! Air Max appeared! In my favorite light purple, bam!!!
Air Max are pretty but on rainy or slippery days
you really have to be careful… the soles are slippery ㅠㅠ
We said we wouldn’t make holiday food this Chuseok,,,
but our family just loves holiday food hahaha
Mom made just a little bit of food!
Holiday food gets tiring so you can’t eat too much, but on the day itself — heavenly!!!

💖 And just like that, another Chuseok holiday passed~
Minjeong didn’t go down to Busan for Chuseok
so we had a girls’ gathering hahaha
We went big at Minjeong’s regular wine bar 🍷 Bebbitore hahaha
That day we definitely boosted the owner’s sales…
Weirdly, why are there no photos of wine, which was the main event? hahaha
The owner gave us a surprise complimentary jamón/cheese plate hehe

One weekend, sitting on the terrace of Mom’s café — all the green things
Capturing them as a memento before they turn yellow soon hehe
