Just Us and the Waves

On the morning of our second day at Lost Lindenberg, we went surfing at a nearby beach, a surfing mecca.

The van, playing pop songs, drove along winding roads. So romantic,,

Even though it was quite early, it was already full of surfers.

Since we were beginners, we moved to a spot with easier waves. My partner was surfing for the first time, but perhaps because of his basic athletic ability, he quickly stood up on the board.

On the other hand, for me, it was my second time surfing, and it was still difficult…ㅎ I couldn’t capture it in photos, but I did manage to stand up precariously once or twice.

After an intense water play session from morning, we came out after showering… We had no energy before breakfast.

The tropical fruit bowl they always serve before your ordered meal arrives.

An excellent breakfast. The coffee, especially, was delicious.

After breakfast, we each had free time. It had been so long since I enjoyed such leisure. It felt truly abundant.

We also went for a walk on the beach.

A dress recommended by a shop owner at Ubud Market, who said it would suit me.

The beach again, to help digest.

It was quiet with just the two of us. A place where only the gentle sound of waves crashing could be heard.

We swam, read books, and even took naps.

Evening eventually arrived.

After finishing dinner, we opened the champagne we bought at the duty-free shop. Happy Honeymoon🥂🍾
