Late autumn - early winter of 2021,

My first trip to Jeju Island in years🌴

As soon as I arrived, I headed to black pork restaurant #Suksungdo, which even Vice Chairman Chung Yong-jin approved of. I went to the branch closest to the airport, and surprisingly, I saw some of the same people I’d encountered at the airport lol. We all had the same idea,,,🐽

For dessert, stir-fried hairtail gut paste rice!

After filling our stomachs, we stopped by a wine shop, bought a bunch of wine, and headed to our accommodation 👣 The neighborhood where we booked our Airbnb was near #HamdeokBeach 🌊

A quiet residential area, it was so peaceful and serene, I loved it 😌

When you think of Jeju Island, you think of stone walls 🪨🪨🪨

After unpacking, we trotted off to see the sea,, It’s really great having the sea so close to our accommodation 🌝

Ah,,, so calm,,,, sea gazing

Listening to music, amidst excited people, watching the sunset over the sea,,, this is heaven 😇 The sky and sea colors change with the time, so radiant💎

Found a really cute baby ㅠㅡㅠ

Oopsie, fell down,,, my heart aches💙

After plenty of sea gazing, we bought fresh, firm mackerel sashimi and mantis shrimp and headed back to the accommodation ~ A happy evening with sparkling wine,,😂

The next day, I set an alarm to see the sunrise and went to the beach… Huh, where’s the sun…? 🙁 Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, so the sun wasn’t visible…

Still, the cloudy sky and sea had a certain charm. I actually like this vibe! 🌝

Ah,,, so clear,,,🧊 The black stones reflecting in the clear water are pretty..😌 I love everything

Dolhareubang, Jeju vibe, strong, strong 😎

We came for hairtail stew for brunch. It was really sweet,,, the bracken fern noodles were totally my style 💘

A different feeling from Hamdeok Beach, #SehwaBeach 💙💙💙 Wow,,, my eyes were truly blessed👀

It was really, really, really good… Is the sea and sky color combination for real…? I realized once again why everyone raves about Jeju Island💟

That’s right, It was truly a good decision to come to Jeju 😇

The #SehwaCStationery I was curious about A calico cat greeted us (?) right from the entrance 🐈

I just want to live life like a calico cat,,,

A stationery store with many charming and pretty drawings and items.

While walking aimlessly, we wondered, ‘Should we go in here?’ and entered #CafeHallasan

What, what, the atmosphere here is so good,,,☺️ When a place you stumble upon without a plan turns out to be excellent, happiness is 200%

Bought a cute ring,

and took lots of polaroids 📸

While looking for places to visit near our accommodation, I went to #Bomsamuso just because its name was pretty. Oh?! The art style looks familiar,,? Turns out it was the actual artist’s studio!!! 👏🏻

Such cute and pretty murals…💕

I looked around for a loooong time. And left with both hands full 😅 lolol

Oh, and also,,, The artist quickly drew a caricature right there on the spot, a caricature in Bomsamuso’s unique art style. They said they’d draw me ‘chubby and cute’,,,🌝 Real-life ‘bbangtteok’ (rice cake face) 🌝 C…cute, right??

p.s. I showed the drawing to my siblings and they asked if it was grounds for a complaint, I burst out laughing lolololol

For our last night in Jeju, we decided to go to a pub near our accommodation that I’d wanted to try..! And wow… we picked a really good one!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Before heading to the airport, we stopped by #GoodWoodMood to shop for room sprays and candles✨

With a little time left, we stopped by a nearby cafe for a cup of coffee,, Seriously, in Jeju, no matter where you go, why is everything so pretty..? The atmosphere is so good-mood☕️

Jeju,,,🏝 This time I came as a pedestrian (without a car), but next time, I’ll visit as a driver🗿
