With its simple, honest beat going ‘doong doong-chit doong doong-chi chit’ from start to finish, paired with Kwon Jinah who sings as if savoring the air and RM’s rap with its sexy diction — it’s delectably sticky yet clean, and I can’t stop listening.

If you listen closely, each of the twenty-seven “You”s that Kwon Jinah breathes out is different. The length, texture, and tremor of the air she blows after each “You” transparently capture the anxious longing of unrequited love.

I first heard RM through this song (at the time, I didn’t even know BTS existed and had no idea what he looked like), and I thought his name was pretty corny. On top of that, with his swaggering sexy voice, he casually drops buttery lyrics like “I’ll be your underline, because you’re important” and “Oh shit, I’m normally not like this”… honestly, he’s totally my type.
