Barcelona, que maraviollosa.
It seems a bit grandiose to call it a dream, and it was a romantic wish to travel to Europe. When I was a college student, I was jealous of people around me who went on trips to Europe every vacation. At the time, it seemed like a luxury to me, so I just kept it in my mind that I would do it later when I made money. I started working in the summer of 2016 and finally planned my first trip to Europe. Due to my personality, I didn’t like traveling in a hurry, taking photos of multiple countries/cities at once. So, of course, my first European travel destination was Spain, where I had really wanted to go since middle school. Although it is full of very attractive cities, I dedicated my first long-term(?) vacation of 5 nights and 6 days to Barcelona.
I learned Spanish as a second language in middle and high school. After 7 years, I was finally able to experience with my own two feet, arms and eyes the food, scenery and culture that I had only tasted through textbooks under the guidance of four or five Spanish teachers who were always hot-tempered! I met Barcelona with excitement.

On the day we arrived, the dinner menu was Tapas!!! The taste that makes you drink @.@
I remember eating it deliciously with a swollen face.
The taste was incomparable to the Tapas eaten in Seoul…

Take a stroll around the neighborhood
What I regret now is that I couldn’t go to the art museum.
Next time I go again, I will enjoy a lot of cultural life!

Hello, Diona(?) I can’t remember your name.
The cat I met at the first accommodation.
A cutie who was shy but didn’t really avoid people haha.
(I remembered… It was Odina!!! Odina :3)
I’m off to eat breakfast
I came here to eat morning cohui and chocolate churros.

Since you have to move around diligently, recharge from the morning, that’s right, that’s right.
After looking around the city, I went to La boqueria market for a bite to eat.

My beloved jamon, salchichon, salami, etc. hams.
As long as I have you, olives, and wine, I feel like I can live well for the rest of my life…

My handsome brother opened the oysters for me. Oyster Chinchin~
In the evening, we went out to see the Montjuic fountain show.
Crowded with people, the darkness quickly descended,
The world’s three largest fountain shows have begun.

Although the lighting was poor, it was still very pretty.
Hit me with water without saying a word~

Just a sad night…
After returning to the hotel, I listened to music and drank wine on the terrace. Happy times.

Atun was in the second accommodation.
When translated, the name means ‘tuna’.
The owner spoke proudly. cute.

I had it for breakfast on the day I went on the Gaudi tour.
Coffee and a warm croissant sandwich.
Take a look around Park Guell first.

I was mesmerized by the meticulous work done up to the ceiling.
I watched for a while, my neck aching.
It’s bright, it’s bright *_*

Even the dense clouds in the sky are works of art.
A sky that matches Park Güell perfectly!

Pastel colors are my favorite. Yeppoyeppo.

Casa Mila

Casa Batlló

I found a hat I liked and bought it without hesitation.
I couldn’t see it like that in Seoul,
What I discovered right after I left was travel.

It’s a good trip if you eat well!

Sagrada Familia…
It’s so bizarre, yet so cool… I’m in awe.
They say it’s still under construction, and I think I heard it’s scheduled for completion in 2021… Is that right…

It feels different when you see it at night.
It’s amazing, a building like that from back in the day…
Maybe it would have been more possible because it was back then.
A reckless and beautiful challenge.

It was a 2 hour bus ride from Barcelona.
Nearby resort, Sitges!!!
At a time when the daily temperature difference was very severe, people took off their clothes during the day.
It’s hot, but it’s chilly in the evening…
Next time I go to Sitges, I should bring a bikini.
I have to lie down on the sunbed~ㅠㅠ Definitely!!!

I took so many photos of the beautiful scenery haha.
I was excited.

It is said that this is a mermaid statue that is said to bring good luck if you put your palms together.
I reject mediocrity.

And the photo above is my favorite.
This photo was taken without conscious awareness, but the warm colors convey a sense of tranquility.
A photo that I like because it comes out.

I took a lot. A lot.
When I returned to Barcelona, I went to watch a soccer game.
It was difficult to get a ticket and watch from a limited express seat.
I saw the biggest stars of the universe, including Messi, Neymar, and Suarez, right in front of my eyes!!!

This smoothie was really, really delicious…!

Every corner of the city of Barcelona was pretty and nice,
The last day I spent quietly alone in the dorm
It remains in my memory the longest.
Was the name of the neighborhood Clot?

The day I promised myself once again that I would live in a house with a terrace.
Choosing Barcelona as my first European destination was a great decision.
A city that will be remembered for a long time.
Spain is going crazy because of the coronavirus.
I sincerely hope it ends soon and becomes quiet…
See you again, Barcelona!
