A Boozy Life in Yeongdeok
Sunday,
I suddenly came to Yeongdeok with my mom,,👀
With continuous remote work, the repetitive days in the same space had become boring and tedious, but then I realized I could still work remotely from grandma’s house!
With the fresh air and a different kind of comfort than Seoul, I felt I made a really good decision coming here👏🏻
Grandma in her pink floral vest🌸 Heh

Sunday dinner was frozen pork belly!!! I finally ate the frozen pork belly I’d been craving 😋

Sizzling😌 The sound of happiness,,,

Grandma also had a sip of beer,,🍺 She held it tight and wouldn’t let go, haha

Ta-da!
Monday morning, while I was working remotely, my mom made me breakfast next to me🥰

She quickly made apple jam on the spot to spread on bread 🍎

Since today was market day, Mom and I came to #YeongdeokMarket during lunchtime. It was cloudy due to the rain 🌫

A charming market scene,,

Freshly boiled and pulled out, the octopus was enormous 🐙

We saw meju too!

Strawberry season🍓🍓🍓 We’re buying a basket.

🪴Flower pots and cute succulents were also visible

They even sold tree saplings, so cool! I want a trumpet creeper tree…🌿

With the strawberries bought from the market, Mom quickly made homemade strawberry lattes for us! Vitamin boost while working☺️🍓 Mom’s the best💕

Quickly left work right on time, bought jokbal from the neighborhood butcher and had a glass of makgeolli🥳 It’s alcohol every day, hehehe

Auntie brought Andong’s #HeegokSaengMakgeolli The aftertaste was really clean and delicious 💙 Do they not sell it in Seoul…?

Anyway, it was impulsive, but coming to Yeongdeok was truly a good decision!
🌱
Lately, I’d been feeling a bit down and listless, but I’m getting a proper refresh☺️ Let’s enjoy remote work like this🤘🏻
