1_An attitude of not being scared.
It was January, when I felt like I had unfairly lost something.
Since the beginning of the year, I have been experiencing fear of viral infection.
In the end, the entire family was stuck in quarantine.
I didn’t get off to a refreshing start, but
When will we ever be like this again in our lives?
Can we spend breakfast, lunch and dinner together?
I take comfort in receiving the gift of a heart filled with affection.
Shrink your body and mind for a moment before taking off with flying colors.
I guess I spent some time inspecting it!
-.I live in debt to a lot of music. It is no exaggeration to say that I was made possible by good songs, good lyrics, good titles, and album descriptions.

-.Children may realize that they already know much more than adults think. Isn’t the important thing not only showing children a clear and clean world, but also making honest efforts to create such a world?

-.People who write have their own generators. You have to work hard to turn that generator to create words and sentences. For me, a generator is a walk. As I walk, forgotten episodes come to mind and my feelings that I had postponed are sorted out.

-. I listened to it again after a long time, and the emotions I felt when I first saw the lyrics and the emotions I feel now are very different. The depth of understanding and the level of empathy are the same, and in any case, I have lived my own life, so I am at an age where I can understand these lyrics in light of the life I have lived in my own way.

-.Barley trampling: This refers to the act of stepping on barley fields so that the barley can take root in the soil during the growth process and withstand cold weather well, thus promoting pruning.
In the cold winter, frost causes the soil in the barley fields to swell as it freezes and thaws repeatedly. At this time, the roots of the barley may become exposed and freeze or dry out and die. Conversely, if the weather is too warm, the barley may overgrow and collapse. To prevent such damage, trampling of barley is performed to press the roots into the soil and at the same time wound the stems and leaves of the barley to suppress the growth of barley sprouts before winter and promote pruning.
In addition, wounds on barley sprouts cause nutrients destined for the leaves and stems to concentrate in the roots, promoting root development, and because moisture is discharged through the wounds, the concentration of cell fluid increases, allowing the plant to better withstand cold.

-.The etymology of longing is “to scratch.”
They are all said to be derived from the verb ‘to scratch’. The word ‘draw’ came from the verb ‘scratch’, and ‘painting, writing, longing’ is believed to be derived from ‘draw’… Scratching in the mind becomes ‘longing’.

-.I have tended to think a lot since I was young. Not just about music, but about life itself. But the conclusion I came to from that is that thinking too much is not very helpful in life. The same goes for giving great meaning to something. I really wanted to play four ballads, but it felt burdensome to think that this album showed everything about me or that it was my completed work. The album is not a 22-year-old Seong-jin Seong-jin, but contains only the best that Seong-jin Seong-jin could do in September 2016, and the same goes for his performance. If I put too much meaning to it, it gives me a headache.

-. Around that time, I think I was also complaining to people around me, saying, “Nothing is going well these days.” Someone gave me this advice. “Don’t try to be, try to do.” The person explained the difference between ‘becoming’ and ‘doing.’
I was breathless at the analogy that becoming a bird means floating in the air and flapping your wings non-stop. As I listened to his explanation that it is only when you do not stop doing what you do, I could not raise my head for a while. I was only passionate about ‘becoming’ a poet, and did not find any reward in ‘doing’ writing poetry.
I no longer promise to become a good poet. Instead, I try to find joy in writing good poetry. I believe in the simple truth that you are a poet only when you are writing poetry. I say every chance I get that the word ‘good’ goes well with ‘do’, not ‘become’. Just because you wrote a poem yesterday doesn’t mean you’re a poet. Just because you’re writing a poem now makes you a poet. That’s no different from saying that you’re only a good person if you’re doing good things.
